经国际园艺生产者协会批准，青岛市将于2014年4月-10月举办世界园艺博览会（A2/B1级）。本届展会由中国国家林业局、中国国际贸易促进委员会、中国花卉协会和山东省人民政府共同主办，青岛市人民政府承办，展会期间预计将有100余个境内外国家、省市和机构参展，参观人数将超过1200万人次。
2014年青岛世界园艺博览会以“让生活走进自然”为主题，秉承文化创意、科技创新、自然创造三大理念，集中展现世界园林园艺最新成果，大力弘扬缤纷多彩的园林园艺文化，全面传播人与自然和谐相处的主旨。园区规划总面积241公顷，国际展园将集中设置，统筹安排园艺展览、园艺竞赛、作品展示、科技交流、文体表演等各类活动，充分彰显地域文化和园艺特色，为各参展方提供一个广阔的展示和交流平台。

Invitation
With the approval of the International Association of Horticultural Producers, the International Horticultural Exposition (Category A2+B1) will be staged from April to October, 2014 in Qingdao. It is sponsored by State Forestry Administration, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Flower Association and Shandong Provincial Government, and is organized by Qingdao Municipal Government. With over 100 exhibitors from home and broad participating, the exposition is expected to attract more than 12 million visitors.
The theme of the exposition is “From the earth, for the Earth”. Followed by the three concepts of “Culturally Creative, Technologically Innovative and Naturally made”, the exposition will showcase the world’s latest achievements in horticulture and gardening, promote diversified horticultural cultures and the harmonious coexistence between man and nature. The exposition site covers overall 241 hectares, which includes an International Garden for international participants. A series of activities and events including horticultural exhibitions and competitions, works display, technological exchanges and art performances will be organized to showcase the cultures and horticultural features of different regions. It will offer an excellent platform for display and exchanges for all the exhibitors.
In order to enhance our close ties, cement people-to-people friendship and promote exchanges in the field of economy, culture and tourism, we sincerely invite to participate in the International Horticultural Exposition 2014 Qingdao.
